The song Make Damn Sure by Taking Back Sunday is always in my head because of the line  ”You are everything I want ‘coz you are everything I’m not”.  It tells one of the reasons why we are attracted to each another.

I simply admire the way how he’s so good at my frustrations.  Strangely, it’s the same story for him.  I’m good in the things that he can’t do.  I can draw but he can’t.  He can dance and do all of this breath-taking flips while I just sit and watch him because I can’t do those kind of things. He’s an optimist and I’m a stubborn pessimist.  Those are just a few examples and I’m pretty sure this would take forever if I list ‘em all.

We’re just like puzzle pieces that fill each other’s emptiness.  Even if we’re complete opposites, we didn’t let it get in our way.  Instead, it attracted us more and let us grow as better individuals. Like for instance, whenever I’m being such a pessimist, he never fails to bring the sun to my rainy days and make a rainbow with his optimism.

I saw this quote in twitter and this sums it all up; “Love is when two imperfect people come together to form something perfect.” ♥
